The reward card
they'll actually
spend.
Load it with value. They choose how to spend it — airtime, dining, rides, spa, fashion, cinema and more. Digital or physical. Full redemption tracking. Built for HR teams across Africa.

Spend categories — localised per country
The problem with bonuses
Bank transfers disappear.
Moments don't.
When you pay a bonus directly into a bank account, it merges with everything else. It pays rent, clears a bill, covers groceries. The gesture, the recognition, gets lost.
A RewardsCard is different. The recipient logs in, sees what you loaded for them, and chooses something they actually want. That moment of choice is the experience. They remember it. They tell people.
Lands in the account. Pays for something forgettable. No tracking.
Recipient chooses their treat. You see when it's redeemed. They'll mention it.

What HR teams say
The reaction is worth more than the money.
We used to send bank transfers for bonuses. Half the team never really felt it. With RewardsCard they come back and tell us what they spent it on — a spa day, their kid's school data, a nice dinner out. That's the difference.
Adaeze Okonkwo
Head of HR · Lagos-based FMCG
Our team in Nairobi appreciated being able to actually choose. One person bought data bundles for the month. Another took their family out to dinner. Both mentioned it in the next all-hands. That never happened with cash.
Mwangi Kariuki
People Lead · Nairobi tech company
The physical card for our 5-year milestone awards was the piece that surprised us most. Employees actually kept them on their desks. It turned a number in a payslip into something tangible.

How is this different from just sending cash or a bank transfer?
Cash transfers are forgotten by Friday. A RewardsCard recipient chooses something they actually want — a spa day, their family's airtime, new trainers, or their electricity bill paid. That intentional spend creates a memory tied to your company. Plus you get full tracking; no more wondering if the bonus landed.
What exactly can recipients spend the card on?
13 categories: airtime and data, dining and food delivery, ride credits, spa and wellness, streaming and cinema, fashion, grocery, home and living, kids and family, beauty and skincare, electronics, and bills and utilities. Some categories are instant digital — airtime tops up in seconds. Others involve physical delivery of 3–7 days.
Can recipients order physical products, not just digital services?
Yes. The catalogue includes physical goods — electronics, fashion, homeware, beauty products, kids toys, and grocery items — all shipped in-country. Recipients choose at redemption whether they want a digital service or a physical product delivered to their address.
How do digital vs physical fulfilment work?
Digital items (airtime, bills, streaming, ride credits) are fulfilled instantly — the value lands in seconds. Physical items (electronics, fashion, grocery) are fulfilled via shop-and-ship with a 3–7 day delivery window. Both flows are covered within a single card and redemption session.
Can cards expire?
Cards are valid for 12 months from issue. You can configure the expiry window for your organisation if needed.
What happens to unspent balance?
Partial spend is supported: recipients can use part of the balance now and return later for the rest. Expired unspent balances are returned to your wallet.
Is there a minimum order?
No. You can send a single card or ten thousand. The unit economics are the same.
Do you offer physical cards (the card itself, not just digital delivery)?
Yes. Physical RewardsCards — printed cards in envelopes — are available and fulfilled in-country. Available in 10 designs for different occasions: Achievement, Birthday, Welcome, Wellness, Milestone, Excellence, Team, Thank You, Seasonal, and Farewell.
How does this compare to other reward card platforms in Africa?
Most platforms offer a list of voucher codes for a fixed set of brands. RewardsCard gives recipients a genuine choice across 13 categories including physical goods delivery, utility bill payments, and service bookings — all localised per country. We also give HR teams full dashboard tracking, CSV bulk sends, and wallet-based funding. Built for how HR teams actually work.
